I have been suffering from asthma since childhood, but when I learned that some plants like snake plant and peace lily absorb polluted air, I added beneficial plants to my surroundings one by one which gradually cured me of my chronic problem. We may use different types of air purifiers for purifying air which is very expensive for us. But if we want, we can arrange clean air around us by having healthy indoor plants at very little cost.

Nowadays, most of the people are suffering from insomnia which can be one of the reasons due to lack of oxygen. There are plants like the snake plant that give off oxygen in the dark of night and take in the toxic carbon dioxide that is so important for our deep sleep. Lavender, like all other beneficial plants, is well known for its relaxing aroma that lowers blood pressure and helps maintain a normal heart rate.
Reducing Anxiety.
If you have any green baby in your home or office, it will in any way reduce your excess stress and give you peace of mind for a long time. Many people consider routine plant care to be a normal task, on the other hand it can help reduce stress. Since I work from home and spend most of my time at home, I start taking care of plants without any routine maintenance right when I feel stressed at work, which gives me instant peace of mind.
